Who we are
Bobo Camper Hire is South Africa’s most experienced motorhome hire company as well as 4×4 camper rental specialist.
In business since 1991, we have expanded our rental fleet into the most versatile and modern motorhome and 4×4 camper fleet in Africa.
What we do
We hire out motorhomes and 4×4 campers to visitors for the self-drive market from all over the world who wish to experience southern Africa at their own pace and leisure.
From luxury fully equipped motorhomes for family travel to rugged 4×4’s for the more adventurous, we have something for all types of discoverers.

Discoverer 6

This made-for-family model in our fleet is this six berth Iveco Discoverer 6. This large motorhome is only available with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. How else?
Discoverer 4
From R2145 per day
This is our most popular motorhome. This modern luxury model sleeps four adults comfortably. Luxury comes standard as does an automatic gearbox
Discoverer FunXA
From R2145 per day
Our Discoverer FunXA is built on a rugged Toyota Hilux 4×4 chassis. It has luxuries unseen in off-road campers like a kitchen and on-board toilet.

We exclusively offer automatic gearbox options for both the Discoverer 4 and 6 motorhome models.
We manufacture our own range of vehicles and customer suggestions have improved our range over the years.
Bobo Campers offers the only non-popup roof 4×4 motorhome – the Discoverer FunX budget and the new Discoverer FunXA.
Best rates in the market for models no older than 5 years – by far most are younger than 2 years. Our rates are published so you can make a quick decision.
Still no contract fees, extra driver fees as well as free drop-off.

Excellent and very friendly service.
We visited here to pick up our hired motorhome (along with 7 other couples) in order to undertake an organised tour of SA, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and after a welcome drink, completed the administration process quickly, thereby allowing us to get on with the familiarisation process. Install our luggage and set off.
An around slick and smooth process.
Definitely recommended 👍

요하네스버그 보보캠퍼스에서 캠핑카5일동안 빌려타고 크루커국립공원 에서3일동안 밥해먹고 야생동물 보고 이동 리조트에서1일 호수공원구경하고 그랜드캐년둘러보고 히포캠핑장에서 1일 지나캠핑카에 4인 시설이 잘되어 있다~숙박하는데 문제없고 식재료 마트에서 구매해서 요리해먹었다~80만원 추가10만원 기름값 20만원 등캠핑장안에 전기와 화장실 샤워실 세탁실 취사시설 싱크대 등 잘되어 있어서카안에 조리를 안해도 가능하다숙박시설에 안들어가도 캠핑카 안에서 2군데 2인씩 자는데 침구류 잘되어 있다^^인터넷예약 사이트잘되어 한국어로예약접수 안내 사용설명 등서비스잘하고 있음마지막 반납하고 공항까지 무료픽업 서비스까지 감사합니다보보캠퍼스 운영시스템 최상 입니다~^^

The camper deserves its own 5 stars but the exceptional service from each and every one at Bobo Campers is in its own league. From reservations, collections and delivery, and the support in between, everything was amazing. The camper comes stocked with everything you may need. I was travelling to a festival with my family (with two young kids) and everyone enjoyed the camper more than the festivities. I’ll definitely be planning my next trip with these campers in mind. Thank you guys!

Very friendly staff . Malou took me over the discoverer 4 camper (the how tos, dos and donts) which was really helpful. Bobo camper have the most beautiful campers , modern touch , fully equipped and drives so well on the road . I really enjoyed the discoverer 4 and will certainly be back
