NAMIBIA – WINDHOEK BOBO CAMPERS. Brilliant service, friendly staff and lovely camper. Chose the 4 berth for space, only myself and hubby travelling around Namibia for 16 nights. Got picked up at the airport as arranged and brought to their Windhoek offices. We were greeted by Otto who was professional and friendly. Didn’t wait long before all checks and paperwork were done and everything explained, we unpacked our suitcases and left them at the depot to save space in the van. This was our very 1st holiday in a camper and it most definitely wont be our last. Everything needed was provided and all the extras we asked for were there. The only thing I would say is extra pillows and a frying pan would have been a bonus but we just bought these from PEP stores. We had no hassles with the van what so ever and was told when returning the vehicle we must be one of the 1st customers to have had it for that length of time with no damage. When we returned the van on the day we flu out we were again greeted by Otto and friendly staff. Packed all our belongings up and left our suitcases at the depot while we walked to a Hotel within walking distance and relaxed and had a bite to eat. The shuttle bus picked us up with our suitcases already loaded and took us to the airport. Thank you to BOBO Campers, Namibia. Hopefully we will be back there one day (from the UK)

We are regular customers of different camper rental companies, but what we experienced with Bobo was below all our experiences we had in the last 10 years across the world (from New Zealand, to Australia, to Namibia and other companies in south Africa). Depside the fact that the car was relatively new (59.000 km), the condition has been quite bad. The interior was not really fixed and screws got missing already. On top, the Bobo team sent us on our way with a defect battery which has not only led to a horrible smell, but more importantly has been quite dangerous as the battery became very hot and has been built into a wood construction. It took the technical team a few days to come with the recommendation to check the battery as source for the very bad smell. Obviously we asked for flexibility, as this issue has been not created by us, but unfortunately the team didn’t show the expected customer centricity. In general, we would not recommend Bobo Campers!

I can’t recommend BoBo Campers if you value customer service or flexibility. We rented a camper and, unfortunately, had a minor incident due to tough terrain in Kosi Bay. Realizing the risks ahead, we decided to return the camper early rather than risk further damage. This wasn’t an easy decision—it meant cutting our trip short—but we felt it was the right thing to do. When we asked BoBo Campers for a partial refund for the unused days, they refused outright. They didn’t even consider that we were protecting their property at our expense. Instead, we were told they’d just ‘fix it if more damage happened.’ This approach makes you feel like just another number. BoBo Campers seems to care more about enforcing their policies than fostering loyalty or showing gratitude to responsible clients. Very disappointing
