Old Mill Drift Guest Farm is a spectacularly picturesque mountain getaway for the whole family.

Nestled between the majestic Maluti Mountains, embraced by panoramic views of peaceful horizons. The crystal-clear waters of the Caledon River and the swaying grasslands of the Eastern Free State Highlands lies the historic Old Mill Drift Guest Farm. With over 14 km of river frontage the scenery is nothing short of spectacular. Situated on the Caledon River, 27km away from both Clarens and Fouriesburg.

Pet-friendly camping for all including caravans (must be towed by 4x4). Pitch up on either one of our 5 large campsites or Camp next to one of our 4 springs or feel free to choose a spot anywhere on our 666-ha extent.

Campsites have electrical hook-ups as do some of the camp wild sites.

Ablution block consists of: MENS: 2 showers and 2 toilets LADIES: 1 shower and 2 toilets, one with wash-hand basin.

SCULLERY: Wash-up area with hot water for dishes provided.

WATER: Finest quality spring water for drinking on tap.

ACTIVITIES: 4x4 trails (beginner to level 5) over 50km of hiking and nature trails. Adventure biking. Mountain biking. Trail running. River tubing. Paleontology dinosaur remains found Aardonyx.

Star gazing under spectacular night skies. Scenic drives. Waterfalls (summer rainfall) and streams. 14 km Caledon River frontage. Swim in natural pools, the Caledon river, streams and 3 dams. Natural wall. Bird watching.

FACILITIES: Fully self-catering accommodation for 62. Fireplaces in all units. Fire-pit / fire-urn outside each unit. Campsites have electrical hook-ups.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES: Historic mill with bar and large viewing deck for hire (with small snooker table and dart board) Recreation room - Dart board, table tennis table and Boules balls.
